| Objections
25. The driver has a nice car.
-
Some people don't tip, or lower the tip, when they
notice the driver has a nice looking or expensive car.
However, this objection is ungrounded. The driver did the same work, no matter what car
was used.
-
The car was the driver's personally owned car. The value of the car
did not go into the price of the pizza. This is not a company
car. A company car would have the store's logo painted on the body. The driver's car might have a magnetic sign on the roof, but that's all.
-
The driver of a nice car usually has higher car payments. They are destroying the car by delivering pizza.
-
A nice looking car enhances the image of the driver
and the store and creates a positive atmosphere for the customer.
-
I hate it when a customer mentions that my car is
better than what's expected for a pizza driver. I want to say, "What do you
want me to drive? An ugly jalopy that might break down every mile?"
