Pizza drivers

Make considerably more than minimum wage. (Part-time UPS drivers make $15 an hour and full-time is $23 an hour.) Make minimum or near-minimum wage. Some are paid less than minimum wage.
Don't use their own car. They use a company vehicle. Use their own car. No company vehicle. (Company vehicles have the business logo painted on the body.)
Company pays for gas. Company does not pay for gas. The driver pays from own pocket.
Not blamed for the shipper's mistakes. (Has anyone grabbed a FedEx driver and said, "I ordered the green blouse from Spiegel. How dare you bring me a pink one!") Constantly blamed if the store boxed the wrong pizza or if the store was running late. Often punished for it with reduced or no tip.
Employer pays all parking tickets. Driver pays parking tickets.
Receives benefits with the job. No automatic benefits.
Does not rely on tips. Relies on tips.
