Delivery story 60 David writes: I live in Chico, CA, the famous party town. I have delivered pizzas on and off for over 13 years. I was on a very rural delivery and had a guy along with me that I was taking home because his car broke down. We got out at the customer's house and we heard a girl moaning. We looked at each other and grinned. I said it sounds like someone is having fun. The sound came from the door. As we approached, a man stood up and yelled for help and to call 9-1-1. Another man ran to find the phone and I ran up hastily. I saw a girl drenched in blood. The man said his sister tried to kill herself and cut both wrists. We stuck around until help arrived. They took her away. It didn't look good. I saw the delivery address a few weeks later and returned. He said his sister was recovering and was receiving help in a facility.
