Tip etiquette How to tip There are three ways. Put the tip on the check Write the check for the bill + tip. The store can tell the difference and gives the tip to the driver. Some stores don't take checks. Please ask in advance. Credit card Write the tip on the receipt. See the line that says Tip. Then write the grand total on the line below the Tip line. These lines appear right above the line for your signature. Use cash Pay the driver more than the bill amount by adding in the tip. If you have to use a larger denomination, tell the driver how much you want back. You could tell the driver to keep all of it. Tips are appreciated. Thank you for tipping the pizza guy.
