Delivery story 90 Anonymous writes: I've been a delivery driver for three years at a Pizza Hut. I enjoy it even in bad weather. The town I'm in is fairly large, but a very "safe and quiet" community. The worst thing that ever happened on a delivery was I got bit by a dog. A big dog. Got me right on the hip, and if I hadn't turned away from him at the last second my name might be Stephanie instead of Steve. He might not have bitten off "Bud and the boys" but he sure would have put a hurtin' on them. I can laugh about it now but I still get kidded about it at work. As far as a good story, I think my most favorite was when I made a delivery to a house I'd been to many times. They always stiffed. I was having a pretty bad tip day and was in a lousy mood. As the customer paid for her pizza, her little girl of about 6 years old came to the door, looked up at me, walked outside, and gave me a big hug. I don't know why she did that, but it sure made me feel good.
