I work for Domino's and have been delivering for a couple months. Today got me really worked up. I left for a delivery which was about ten minutes to the house and back.
I was going down one of the main roads and an SUV was in front of me speeding. Next thing I know, the SUV stopped very quickly from doing 35-40 MPH because the person in front took their sweet time turning. My tires squealed and I nearly hit the back of the SUV. On the opposite shoulder, there was a man working on a mailbox and he accused me of not paying attention.
So after I made the delivery and got back to the store, one of my managers told me I had a complaint about the incident so I was sent home. What really got me mad was that the guy accused me of being on the phone and flicking him off, which I didn't because I know it would get me fired. My manager even told me that the guy called back and complained about our service to him, which was complete BS because the guy never ordered from the store and accused him of being a liar.
