| Delivery story 437

I was working for Papa John's pizza in Zachary, LA when I had to make a delivery one afternoon. It was on this dirt road in the middle of nowhere. At the entrance to the dirt road was a row of six mailboxes obviously belonging to all of the residents on said dirt road. So I started driving down looking for the numbers on the trailers that lined the street. Of course none of the numbers were posted on ANY of them. I slowly passed the second trailer with a woman sitting on the porch smoking a cigarette and she looked at my car and paid no mind. So I went all the way to the last one and asked a man outside if I had the right address. He said no and told me it was probably one of the trailers closer to the front. So I got back in my car and started back towards the entrance.
I stopped at the second trailer where the woman I had passed earlier was still sitting. I politely asked her where I could find this address and in a very bitchy voice she said, "Right here!" I approached her and apologized that I passed her up the first time as I did not see any numbers. She then said, "It's the f*#%ing second one, dumbass." Let me tell you I've lived in plenty of trailers and I don't mind using the term "trailer trash" for this nasty broad. She snatched the pizza box out of my hands and threw it down on the porch and opened it up. She then began to yell, "What kind of pizza do you call this?" I told her, "It's the works, ma'am." She then said, "Doesn't look like a fucking works to me!" At first this lady was so over the top rude I thought she was joking but by this point I figured out she's just a stone cold b!#ch. I then told her how much it was and she handed me the money. (No tip obviously.) I said to her in my most sarcastic voice ever, "You have a nice day there, ma'am," and she just rolled her eyes at me.
Now mind you I got this pizza to this lady in under 30 minutes and it was a nice looking, perfectly good hot pizza. I was so livid driving back to the store when I got there I told my GM that I was black listing this b!#ch from our system. (Being an assistant manager I gave myself the authority to do so.) My GM called the lady and notified her that because of her actions we were not delivering to her address anymore and she lost it. So we just hung up on her and put her information into the computer as "DO NOT DELIVER" so we will no longer be sending pizzas to that household. Delivery drivers fight back!
