Delivery story 43

Anonymous writes:

A lady called and asked for the best special we had. Fine. I hooked her up. She then asked me to put extra cheese on the pizzas. "Sure," I said, "That'll be an extra $2.80."

"No, I want it free!" she demanded.

Sorry, lady. Nothing is free today.

She called back five minutes later wanting napkins, plates, forks, and knives. I told her, "We are happy to bring you some napkins, but as we don't have the rest of the stuff, we can't."

She argued, "Why not? There's a store next to you. Just get some there."

Sorry. We deliver pizza and a few other things. No cutlery or dishes.

I delivered this wonderful order and she wasn't even home. She was five doors down in a row of 4-plexes. She finally waddled up after her lazy, fat, disgusting son decided he might want to go get her. Then I had to wait for her to find her checkbook and write the check. Exact money to Pizza Hut and then she asked for her free DVD. (Pizza Hut ran a special that gave away a free DVD if you bought a large pizza.)

As my hat, shirt, hot bag, and all five boxes proclaimed, I work at Domino's!! So, I needed a new check, and of course I didn't carry any DVDs to give away.

I got back to the store and she was ragging on the phone to my manager that she wanted a DVD for free. I got on the other line and called the Pizza Hut down the street and told a driver there what happened. Our manager flatly told her that Pizza Hut had the deal and not us.
