Delivery story 399 Twinkerbell writes: I used to deliver pizza for about four years and saw a lot of bizarre things, but the funniest had to be one time around Christmas. I showed up to this big fancy house and rang the doorbell. A teenage boy came to the door wearing nothing but boxer shorts and a pair of reindeer antlers. I could see a couple other kids in the background giggling. He looked super embarrassed seeing a female driver at the door and mumbled to me that he had lost a bet. I looked at him and said, "Really? I never would've guessed." He then proceeded to hand me a Slim Jim can full of change and apologized for having to pay in change, promising that there was a good tip in there for me. I was about to pee my pants laughing when he added, "I left a Slim Jim in there because I thought you might want a snack." I had to run to the car so as not to laugh in this kid's face. I took the change back to the store and it took me and two co-workers about 10 minutes to count it all. As promised, there was about $4-5 for me. I never delivered to that house again. I wonder if the kid was too embarrassed ever to order from us again.
