I got to this guy's house and rang the doorbell. No answer. Spent the next five minutes ringing the doorbell, knocking on the door and shouting, "Anybody home?" I hate re-deliveries. I go back to the store and call the customer. No answer. I left a message on his answering machine that I came. I got a call ten minutes later. It was the customer and he told me he was out in his back yard. But he didn't say, "Sorry, I was in the back yard." So I drove back out to his house and rang the doorbell. NO ANSWER!! Spent another five minutes knocking on the door and yelling. STILL NO ANSWER!!!
I started to walk back to my car and the guy came running out of his garage. "I was out in my back yard again and I wasn't able to see you since you parked in a strange place." (The driveway is a strange place to park?) Did this guy not figure things out the first time? How did he expect to see me from his back yard? He has a high wooden fence going all the way around. (No way to see him.) Does he have X-ray vision?
BTW, I got a whopping dollar as a tip for all my troubles.
