| Delivery story 341

I drive for Mark's Pizzeria in Rochester, NY. It was my first day on the job when I had a delivery down into the edge of the city and the town I live in. It was a bright summer day so everybody was outside when I pulled onto the street. The door from the street was maybe 20 feet away so I decided to just leave my car running because nobody is gonna hop in it and take off...
Well, they did. I heard two car doors slam and I look to the left and watch my car whip around the corner onto the main road. I had to go inside and ask for the phone book and a phone because my cell was currently doing about 50 mph somewhere down Ridge Rd. So I called the shop and told 'em what happened so they sent down somebody to come scoop me up. I ended up getting the car back with nothing but my IPod and cell phone missing.
And I'm still workin' at Mark's. I figured nothing can be worse than my first day, so why the hell not.
