Delivery story 305

I work at a Pizza Hut in Duncanville, TX. I am always shocked at how many women answer the door half dressed. One day the manager asked me if I could work late since he was low on drivers. I had only worked there for maybe two weeks and I had some nice tips in my pocket so I agreed. I was very new to delivery driving and was never trained.

I got a delivery to an apartment complex that was pretty new. It was towards the back of the property. I climbed the stairs to the second floor and knocked on apartment number 1123. No one answered, so I got back to my car and called the phone number. They stated they were back home.

I climbed the stairs again. This time there were four black teenagers, two with their backs to me. All of a sudden they turned around and put a gun to my head and told me to look down and empty my pockets and give them everything as they yelled at me. I gave them all my tips and bank. Then I gave them my wallet. (I then carried a coach wallet for men with my previous day's tips and fuel money in it.) Then they got my PDA cell phone and my keys to my car. Then three of the guys, including the guy with the gun, took off. One remaining guy told me to turn around. I did and he kicked me down the apartment stairs laughing all the while.

A neighbor let me call the cops. To this day no one has been arrested. I learned a lot from that day. I bought a cheap $7 wallet at Walmart and I NEVER carry more than my $15 bank anytime.

Please tip your pizza drivers!! We go through hell for those tips.
