I work at the Papa John's in Flour Bluff, which is on the outskirts of Corpus Christi, Texas. We have a deal to do all the pizzas for a party place down the street. One day I had to deliver a $60 order to this fat, brown/missing teeth lady for her son's birthday party. She was enraged that I didn't bring the 26 cents in change for her. She yelled at me in front of 30 or more people for a few minutes and demanded extra plates and napkins.
When I came back with her 26 cents, she pulled out a fat bankroll of twenties and bigger bills, walked over to the change machine with a five dollar bill and got quarters. She then gave me one dollar in quarters and my 26 cents back and said, "See. Now it pays to bring change." I threw the money on the floor and walked out.
