Delivery story 266

I never thought this would happen. This is absolute craziness! I was working for Imo's Pizza, Rockhill in St. Louis, Mo. in January 2004 and it was extremely cold. I had a delivery that no driver wanted to take for the best three reasons I can imagine. One. It was way far out of the delivery zone. Two. Bad traffic conditions. And three. Ice everywhere on the highway. I knew before I left that this delivery would cause me to lose money that night, but I must say it was totally worth it.

I got to the house with about $90 worth of food knowing I was in an area with stingy, rich people. I figured my tip for a delivery that took me damn near 20 minutes to get to was going to be no more than two dollars. I was pissed off and on autopilot when a beautiful no more than 30-year-old woman dressed in very little answered the door. She told me hello and went to get the money off the end table at the end of the long hallway and invited me inside. "Sure. Why not."

I looked around for a bit and noticed buzzing noises from the large den at the end of the hallway. She came back with the money in hand. I asked her innocently, "What are the buzzing noises? It sounds like a tattoo gun." The woman giggled at me and replied, "Yeah. Something like that." I told the woman, "Cool. I love tattoos," and proceeded to show her the tattoo on my arms. She grabbed my arm and held it to her eyes so she could get a better look when a guy from the den shouted, "HEY PIZZA GUY!" I said hey back. I was preparing to leave when the man invited me into the next room. "Why the hell not."

I got in there and to my surprise there were no tattoo guns. There were people having a Tupperware party, only with vibrators, and the sound I heard was one of the ladies testing the product on another lady. "What the F@*K!" Needless to say, I got in bad trouble when I returned ... three hours later.
