Delivery story 265

Marty McFly writes:

Purdue University ordered 150 pizzas for delivery during the 2007 Indiana-Purdue football game in Bloomington, IN. They were to be delivered at the start of the 4th quarter.

Two guys took all the food to the stadium in a van, wading through the tailgaters. After they unloaded the pies into multiple buses for the players, some assistant coach told them that only the head coach can sign the invoice. He told them to wait on the field until the game was over.

The game ended and the coach stiffed them on $1000 or so. Thank you very much. Ouch.

In this case, the tip money would have gone to the pie makers who made all the food with some left over for the delivery people. Thanks so much ... please order REAL soon.
