I worked for a small chain of pizza stores called Al's that was located SW of Chicago. Everyone has their good and bad deliveries, but some just get plain nasty.
I was taking a double delivery about five miles down the road from the store. The road had four lanes, two in each direction. It was still light out and I was heading back to the store when I noticed a white Lexus SUV on my back bumper and I mean on my bumper. I was going five over the speed limit (40 mph) and there was a car next to me.
At the time, I was driving a car that I cared deeply for, so this Lexus was making me nervous. I tried to get him to back off. I slowly braked and then sped up, which pissed the guy off even more. The guy was so close to me I couldn't see his headlights and was going 40 mph.
Finally I just full out brake checked him to the point where he had to swerve to avoid hitting me. But what does he do? He gets RIGHT back on my bumper so I repeated the process two more times but he doesn't get it. I would have been more than happy to move over if he wasn't so aggressive.
It got worse when we came to a red light. I was in front. In my mirror, I saw him hop out of the car. Without even thinking I locked my doors and closed my windows to a small crack. He came over to my car and punched it, which hurt me more than him. He asked me if I thought it was funny. I tell him no, I'm doing the speed limit, leave me alone, go around. He went ballistic and started hitting my car. That really angered me so I dialed 911. The light turned green and he got back in his car but I didn't move, so he forced his way around me.
I easily caught up to him, got his license plate, and relayed it to the cops. I still haven't heard if he was caught or not.
He did a few hundred dollars in damage to my car which was a Celica All Trac. That's why it hurt me more than him.
