Delivery story 216 C_love111 writes: I used to work at the Papa John's in FT Oglethorpe, GA. One day we were told that a driver from the Pizza Hut delivered to a guy we all delivered to before. The man had written a bad check. So the manager called the man back and told him the driver was going to bring his check back and he needed to pay with cash. This was around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. The driver never returned but the man called back and said he paid the driver, and he said that the driver had to run some errands or something. 4 o'clock came and the driver hadn't returned. So the manager called the police. They went to the house and found the man shot in the head. The driver was found dead beaten with a hammer. They kept looking and found the man's Grandmother dead in a closet. She had been there for days. I know that manager must feel like crap after making the driver go back. He was only 23 years old. It's a sad and horrifying story because that could have been me or anyone else. We all had delivered to that man. To anyone that thinks this job is easy and nothing to it, you're wrong by so many accounts.
