Delivery story 205

Lonny Volat writes:

As a manager for Hungry Howie's in Bushnell, Florida, I often instruct my drivers that, when calling a customer for directions, they should ask about vehicles parked in front of the house. After all, it's easier to spot that blue Ford pick-up then house numbers which may not exist.

On one particular delivery, the driver was told that there were lots of cars on the property, that "it looks like a used car lot." The driver went out to the street and found (go figure) no house numbers and two houses (side by side) with multiple cars in the yard. So he walked up to one house and the guy who answered the door bought the pizzas.

It turns out that the two neighbors hate each other so much, when the one guy saw the other guy's address on the pizza box, he came out of pocket with $20 just to deny his neighbor the pizzas!
