Delivery story 161

Maynoth writes:

I work for Domino's in a small town (Blairsville, GA) and I was delivering pizza to this trailer park. I pulled up to their single wide trailer around 11 PM (they had ordered at 10:30.) The driveway was full of old cars and before I could even get out of my car I was surrounded by at least 15 drunk and high rednecks that can barely walk. They were so inbred.

"We're f@*$ ing p!##ed off," they shouted and continued to encircle my car so I could not back up, otherwise I would have sped off in a heart beat. "We wants us a refund," another one said. The biggest one shouted, "It took you over an hour. We wants our money's(sp) back." They had ordered over $80 in pizzas, hot wings, and cokes and they hadn't paid me yet so I couldn't give a refund. Keep in mind I was actually to their door within 30 minutes.

I calmy apologized and told them I was calling my manager to see if he could authorize a discount. Luckily he did for 25%. I gave them their new total and they shorted me $5.00 on top of that. After the first guy paid me, another one pulled out a sandwich bag filled with tan colored nut looking things wanting to know if I needed anything. I assured him I was fine but I appreciated the offer. (Not sure if it was crack or coke or what since I don't mess with drugs.)

About this time I noticed one guy on the other side of my car urinating on my tire. I didn't say anything because at this point I was surrounded by over 15 drunk rednecks. Then one of their 350 lbs girlfriends (if you could even call her that) came out wearing a moo-moo and started yelling at them to get back inside because Bobby was packing another bowl. I am really grateful to her for convincing them to leave me alone. After they were clear from my rear, I popped it into reverse and went 35 backwards down a gravel hill, did a 180, and sped off.

We have since added a note that says not to take orders from that trailer park again, in-store pickup only.
