Objections

12. There was a long delivery time.

When you go to a restaurant and they are very busy, there is often a waiting period for your table. The delivery time is the same idea as waiting for your table.

If there is a 60-minute wait for your table, you don't blame the waiter.

Likewise, please don't blame the driver if there is a long wait time.

It means the store was saturated and will get to you as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, there are other customers ahead of you. When it's busy, things are backed up. Most of it happens in the kitchen. The kitchen can take 60 minutes and the driver takes the usual 10 minutes to reach you.

If the wait time was 90 minutes and you receive the pizza 90 minutes after you ordered, please don't assume it was 90 minutes old. It was almost always 10 or 15 minutes out of the oven. You can tell by the temperature of the food.

It's important to remember that when you placed the order, it meant that you agreed with the delivery time you were told on the phone. You could have turned down the order or cancelled.

If you were told three hours and the driver arrived three hours later, since you agreed to wait three hours, you have no reason to be upset. The store fulfilled their end of the deal.
