| | 3/25/12 2:33:09 PM Name: Lol @ Camille Email: federalduckk@aol.com Comments: We're going to have to have a discussion about entitlement, Miss Thing. Doing your job in a climate controlled environment where you are free of the threat of assault in a shady neighborhood sounds pretty cush, to me. Think next time, babes.
| | 1/17/12 4:19:56 AM Name: To Camille Rates this site: very good Comments: Awwwwww....you had to walk 10-17 miles in a shift. Did you do that in sub zero temps with 2 feet of snow and ice between the kitchen and table because of some @#$%&@ forgot to shovel the floor? You had to even climb ice covered stairs to the table because someone forgot to salt the steps. you poor thing. Good thing you didn't do my job last Friday. I walked around 70 miles across ice. 10-17 miles is an fn cakewalk. You would keel over from walking as many miles as I do in a shift. As for extra jobs, do you have to cook the food for the customer or do you have to scrub the dishes before you can leave at night? Your job is a fn cakewalk.
| | 1/16/12 8:54:45 PM Name: Camille Rates this site: poor Comments: Your information about the difference between servers and delivery people is highly inaccurate. Come work at my serving job and tell me you do half as much as I do. Not to mention as a server I do not take home a paycheck. Your job is a choice as is mine, tipping is always an option and not a requirement. You need to show you deserve a tip not expect it. Most of my delivery drivers are bratty teenagers with bad attitudes. And as for only making four trips to the table? First trip, greeting the table. Second. Returning with nonalcoholic drinks. Third. Returning with alcoholic drinks and seeing if guests are prepared to order. Fourth, coming back with appetizer plates. Fifth. delivering soup/appetizer. The list continues. Not to mention every single time someone stops you to see if you can get something for them or stopping by yourself to periodically check on them throughout their meal. On average, in one shift, walking back and fourth on a busy night wearing a pedometer, you can walk anywhere from 10-17 miles. Get your facts straight, do not compare a delivery driver to a server. I am not a buffet server either, which seems to be the low grade of server you compare yourself to.

On a slow night we might make $15 to $25 in tips, which is far lower than someone who does not have to rely on tips to fix a car used on their job. I would love $60-$80 in tips every shift on the average.
