| The most aggravating things about
being a driver
16. People who don't shovel the snow
or clear the ice.
You deliver in winter and it's obvious
the customer has not shoveled the driveway, sidewalk, or front porch. You
have to carefully step on snow and ice while holding the pizzas and
drinks.
-
It can be very slippery, especially
after an ice storm. Sometimes the snow is knee deep. Sometimes a hill or
a stair ramp is so slippery that it is nearly impossible to climb. You could
slip and injure yourself badly at any moment. Conditions are dangerous and apparently
the customer doesn't care. At least if you slip and fall, you can legally
sue the pants off the stupid people for not clearing a path.
-
If you're going to order pizza, have
the sense to clear a narrow path from the street to the
door. We might have to cancel the delivery until the customer does something about it.
