The most aggravating things about being a driver 11. People who promise to tip next time but never do. This type of customer doesn't tip, but promises to tip next time. They keep ordering and never tipping, always promising they will tip next time. It might be okay to promise once, but it gets monotonous after the eighth consecutive time. People who do this are lying. They never intend to tip. They only say it to make themselves feel better. It hurts the driver like anyone else who doesn't tip. Some people think not tipping is okay as long as you say you will next time, but that's nothing but deceit. How would they feel if the driver promised to deliver but did not? When they complain, the driver promises to deliver next time, but never actually delivers. It wouldn't go over well. Promising to tip mocks the driver's work. They know they ought to tip. Hypocrites! If they would actually "get you next time" they wouldn't be liars. If these people finally tip, I sort of hope they compensate for all the missing tips. Last updated: August 8, 2008
