| The most aggravating things about
being a driver
8. People who compliment the pizza and
don't tip.
-
This is similar to the last point. The
customer praises you for bringing hot pizza. They feel the box and tell you
it's good and hot. Steam might rise from the box and they will be in awe.
Then they don't tip. Some people will praise you up and down for every reason
(hot pizza, timely delivery, bad weather) and then not tip.
-
The customer noticed the driver did
a good job and therefore should be tipped, but did not tip. This is hypocritical
and outright cruel. If you liked the service, you are expected to tip. If
I did a really good job, as the customer indicated, the tip should be even
greater.
-
Unfortunately, all the good things you
say to me won't make a dent unless you tip. This is not a volunteer job.
I have bills to pay and car expenses to handle. I do not want to be teased
about my tip.
