| The most aggravating things about
being a driver
12. People who say, "Have a nice day,"
when they don't tip.
The customer hands you the money with
no tip. Two seconds later they say, "Have a nice day." I can't believe how
cruel some people can be!
-
How is the driver supposed to have a
nice day when people are not tipping? How am I supposed to have a nice day
after I get a 17-cent tip? You just ruined the driver's day. It would be more respectful to say nothing. The
remark was uncalled for.
-
When there's no tip, the driver interprets,
"Have a nice day," as a smart remark. I want to respond, "And I hope
you can't pay the bills, either."
-
Some people say, "Thank you so very
much," after not tipping, which is just as tasteless.
