| The most aggravating things about
being a driver
13. People who say "Have a nice day"
when they don't tip.
The customer hands you the money with
no tip. Two seconds later they wish you to "Have a nice day." I can't believe how
cruel some people can be!
-
How is the driver supposed to have a
nice day when people are not tipping? How am I supposed to have a nice day
after an insulting tip like 17 cents? You just ruined my day. It would be more respectful to say nothing. Such callous remarks are uncalled for.
-
When there's no tip the driver interprets "Have a nice day" as a smart remark. I want to respond, "And I hope
you can't pay the bills, too." I have to bite my tongue to keep my job.
-
Some people say, "Thank you so very
much," after not tipping which is equally tasteless.
