The most I ever made was $125 but it was a ten-hour shift. On a normal (night) shift, my record was $115 and it took 42 deliveries to reach it. That was not normal. What's the worst you ever made in one night? Let's assume a minimum of 4 hours. My worst experience ever was $14 on 17 deliveries. Since that includes the 75-cent per run commission, it means my tip average was only 7 cents. I was stiffed 15 times.

I'm sure there are stories that that will fry your ass off, but $185 was my best nite, followed by $175. Come to work expecting that, everynite. I want to make that every nite. I made $78 in tips alone tonight, which is to say the same of what I reported above as tips alone above in this post. Don't get with these restrictive asswhole Pig3 who want to spend more on wages and seize your tips while restricting your ability to take multiple orders. Get with volume, and discriminate against distance runs to ensure that you receive volume deliveries. Close the other wannabe's out.

$186 on New Years in 2001. Broke the local DP store 15 year record. $150-$170 was regular during college. Breaking $180 is tough...every second had to be spot on with no stiffs and no redlights for eight hours. Timing had to be perfect.

This Friday was the best day in the last 2 months: $90 in tips on 15 runs. Best this year (2009) is $132 in tips (9 runs) on June 26. Not sure, but that may be the day I got a $70 tip on a $330 order. I don't have the archives handy, but I'm sure I've done better. I just hit my 3rd anniversary being a driver. Have not received a raise in hourly pay yet. Z.

last April when the Travoltas had a b-day party for their little girl ELLA BLEU. They ordered 25 pizzas and gave me a $150 tip. I gave $50 to the 2 cooks that made them. So that night I made over $200 in tips.

$256 on a 5pm - 5 am shift, 55 deliveries. I've taken 55+ dels quite a few times, but around $175-200 is average for a night with that many runs. We just had a guy, 3 months back maybe, did 63 run on a 4-close and made $360. He no longer works for us, and was not the most honest guy, so I dont know if he made a few orders free after collecting the full amount of the order to get his tip average that high, or if he just had a really good night.
